I didn't have vertigo.
& I'm not scared of heights.
I'm just afraid of the urge to jump.
The curiosity of what it'll feel like to hit the ground.
The inevitable 'will I still be conscious when I hit the ground?' question.
Lord help me.

I tell you most solemnly that it sucks having food poisoning. Like, seriously.
I mean, I'm missing all my lessons and I'll have to get a Spelling re-test and the pills the doctor gave me taste awful and etc etc etc. -hyperventilates-
Plus, all I've done is study. I can't even take a nap =.=
But I'll suppress my misery for now; here's some photos of Tuesday's Total Defence Day @ SDC[S'pore Discovery Centre].

Gals[from the left]: Andrea, Rachel, Me, Chloe, Audrey

The awesomely cool Civil Defence Bike I got to ride ;D

An example of a car in a bomb blast.

Part of the Bomb exhibit. Kinda resembles the painting that showed Peter from Heroes blowing up, don'tcha think?

Yanling, Chloe, Shannon and Audrey in the foreground. I think Andrea's the one with her back to the camera.
FYI: Audrey's posing with the Strawberry Pocky biscuits she bought and is NOT smoking.

Rachel was really, really tired & lethargic after running around the indoor exhibits for a 'race'. Needless to say, she wasn't really cheery bout' me taking her picture.

Lol. Yanling refused to let me take her picture XD

It's not easy not answering
Every time I want to talk to you
But I can't
If you only knew the hell I put myself through
Replaying memories in my head of you and I
Every night
You held me
You felt me
You left me
But it's over, it's over,
It's over?

I'm weird, no?
HAPPY SINGLES' AWARENESS DAY! :D :D :D
According to Wikipedia, it's celebrated on either the 13th or 15th of February so that singles can poke fun at the shallowness and tackiness of Valentines' Day.
But y'know what? I think the only thing I'd like would be a Valentines' Present from someone - preferably Him. It's not materialism or anything on my part but I've never gotten a Valentine from anyone before. -blushes-
And I'd really like to.
Watched a re-run of a The Batman episode where Catwoman was introduced for the first time.
I kept giggling all throughout the show XD
I mean - dontcha' think they'd look good together? Plus, they're both equally hot. And I'm being frank here; totally not in a lesbian manner.
I wanted to send all my friends Valentines/Singles Day cards but my lazy butt got the better of me. So here's a big shout-out to you guys (:
SH,HS & C: You guys are the most awesome friends a girl could ask for. I miss you guys so much! There's a ton of things I'd like to say to each of you but I'd like to do it personally and not over the Internet. So keep in touch, alright? I ♥ U!
Z: God, I think of you so much. Like, how I realise that there's absolutely no one like you. No guy has your sense of humor, sarcasm, wit and personality. I'd really like to say that to you face-to-face but I'm too scared that you'll laugh it all off and think it's my way of April-Fooling you.
J,J,J: Thanks for being there to talk to me even though I'm in a different class from all of you. And thank you for letting me hang out with you guys and just being there.
G: Haha, I can't believe your brother's a prefect. Now I know that the world truly is coming to an end.
We've known each other for 6 years and I think you're wonderful with the way you draw me out, even if it is by chucking chocolates at me. HS says that you like me and so does Z, but I'll never really know, will I? Anyway, thanks for all the great memories and arguments. No guy argues like you do ;D
Everyone else I know: Thank you for tolerating my pigheadedness and arrogance. You've probably never said it to my face but I know you think I'm a bitch. So do I, sometimes. But I'm just being my narcissistic self again by talking about me. Cheers ;]

we're twelve.
twelve-going-on-thirteen.
we're at the stage in life where everyone is trying to make a scene.
my friends and I, we're on a show.
I do believe it's called 'REALITY'.
drama, romance and friends galore!
everything our Channel 5 drama needs.
no matter how much the plot twists and turns,
the characters stay true.
no "hello, goodbyes" or betraying little spies.
at least not till,
the audience has had its fill.
But once the make-up comes off,
The audience just coughs!
As friends turn into
ENEMIES.

Gambling woes
Friday, 8 February 2008 @ 19:58
This is a really quick post since I'm about to go off and gamble away my money at my grandma's.
Lost about $3 in 2 hours at my great auntie's place this afternoon. Only won the first round but that doesn't count cause' we weren't playing with money =.=
As my ever-observant mum and cousin noted, I always seem to win the rounds which we aren't playing with money.

I was so completely right.
Today didn't measure up at all D:
School started fine. The CNY segment was pretty good too.
The St. Gabriel's Vocal Ensemble was awesome, considering they're boys. They had two groups but I sorta preferred the first group with their cover of 'Such Great Heights' by The Postal Service. Their be-bopping was really cool and one of the students - probably Sec 2 - had an AMAZING voice for such a young[really?!] age.
Totally Singapore Idol material.
Much better than the g*ddamn %#@*!$ J. from Season 2. Or was it 3?
Anyway, the celebration ended at round' 11-ish, half an hour later than the time we were supposed to be dismissed.
Reached HIPS at 11.45 am and the guard let us in; we were only allowed into the canteen though >.<
Waited around for some R5ians to turn up and then - I SAW CLARINE! :D :D :D
She looked kick-ass in her NCHS dark-blue and white uniform.
She was uber tall too! But I guess it's a combination of growth over the holidays and the really huge school shoes she wore. No offense :3
HuiNi turned up after that and we hugged each other.
She hasn't really changed much. But I wasn't expecting her to.
She just seemed a tad more depressed than her usual morbid-hyper self.
I handed out the chocolate and sweets and I wasn't surprised when the boys made a gigantic mess of the wrappers and stuff. Had to clean it up for them since they'd already disappeared. G. looked kinda guilty though so I guess it wasn't all wasted.
Clarine and I waited around for SH. & Z. to come but we left at round' 12.49pm since the guard was gonna lock the gates. We tried calling both of them but alas! Both of em' weren't picking up.
So we walked to HM with T. & GL. for lunch at the Mcdonalds' there but ended up eating at the food court which I may add, had a horrible selection of food, so only Clarine and T. ate lunch; I had lunch at 3-something but I'm not sure whether GL ate anything at all.
He needs to eat more. He's really too skinny.
The library was closing soon so I quickly headed back at 4.30.
Reached home at 5.15pm and got a mild telling-off from Daddy-o. He expected me back at 4, even after I told him I'd be getting back at 5.
I think he needs Lasik for his ears -.-
Our reunion steamboat dinner started at 6.30pm and I stuffed myself silly with noodles and prawns. It wasn't too bad but I don't really enjoy steamboats. No particular reason why, though.
After the dinner, we walked back to my grandma's house for a family Rosary session.
The kids[including me] had to read out the Glorious Mysteries and lead with the Hail Marys.
I remember staring at the altar's table top, zoning out. Y'know, when you start at something but aren't really looking at it, just thinking? Yeah, I did that.
I was thinking about Men in the past[and some now] who thought women were an inferior species and believed that women should be seen and not heard.
HELLO?! God exalted Mother Mary and although she wasn't like, his actual daughter or anything, she was still held in such high esteem that she could be Queen of Heaven. So who says women aren't important too?

I've been on Auto-mode for two days.
I swear, the only thing that's kept me from not 'pontang-ing' class was the fact that I'd only need to endure two days of studying and tests and then - CAN RELAX[ree-lack] FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK!
Woo hoo :D
12 more hours till our 'reunion'!
God, I'm so looking forward to it.
But y'know, the thing is, that when you get completely excited about something, it almost always never seems to measure up in real life.
I hope tomorrow's not like that.
We had our Lit. test today and I shan't lie: It was pretty easy.
But only cause' our Lit. teacher went through all the possible questions and answers. If she didn't, I think I'd fail.
And I'm not just saying that to come off as a humble and meek little girl.
Far from it.
